Refund Policy

We want you to be satisfied with TheDispatcher.us. Please read this policy carefully before purchasing a subscription. It explains the limited circumstances under which refunds may be issued.

1. Our Service and Payment Processor

TheDispatcher.us provides a subscription-based platform for motor carriers to review freight brokers. All payments are processed securely through Paddle, our authorized Merchant of Record. When you purchase a subscription, your payment is subject to Paddle's own terms in addition to this policy.

2. Free Trial — No Charge, No Risk

All new registered Carriers receive a 30-day free trial with full access to premium features. No credit card is required during the trial period. Your account will prompt you to choose a subscription plan at the end of the trial. You will never be charged automatically without your explicit consent to subscribe.

3. General No-Refund Policy

As a general rule, all subscription fees are non-refundable. Because TheDispatcher.us provides immediate access to digital content and platform features upon payment, we do not offer refunds for partial subscription periods, unused time, or change-of-mind cancellations.

This policy is consistent with the nature of SaaS and digital services platforms and complies with applicable consumer protection regulations for digital goods.

4. Exceptions — When a Refund May Be Issued

We may issue a full or partial refund, at our sole and reasonable discretion, in the following situations:

  • Billing Error: If you were charged an incorrect amount, charged more than once for the same period, or charged after a timely cancellation — you are entitled to a correction and refund of the excess.
  • Major Service Outage: If the platform is completely inaccessible for more than 72 consecutive hours due to a failure on our end (not attributable to third-party infrastructure, your internet provider, or scheduled maintenance), we may issue a pro-rated credit or refund.
  • Unauthorized Charge: If your payment method was used without your authorization, contact us and your payment provider immediately. We will cooperate fully in any investigation.

Refund requests under these exceptions must be submitted within 14 calendar days of the charge in question.

5. Non-Refundable Situations

The following situations do not qualify for a refund:

  • Dissatisfaction with reviews, ratings, or opinions posted by other users on the platform.
  • Forgetting to cancel before the renewal date.
  • Not using the platform during your subscription period.
  • Disagreement with platform policies, Terms of Service, or content moderation decisions.
  • Account suspension or termination resulting from a violation of our Terms of Service.
  • Indirect business losses or damages allegedly resulting from information found on the platform.

6. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation immediately stops future billing. You retain access to premium features through the end of your current paid billing period. After that, your account returns to free-tier access.

Cancellation alone does not trigger a refund for the current billing period unless the situation qualifies under Section 4.

7. How to Request a Refund

Subject: "Refund Request – [Your Account Email]"

Include: Your full name, registered email, date of charge, amount charged, and a brief description of the issue.

We will review your request and respond within 5 business days. If approved, refunds are processed through Paddle back to your original payment method within 7–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.

8. Chargebacks

If you initiate a chargeback with your bank or card provider before contacting us, we reserve the right to suspend your account pending resolution. Most legitimate billing issues can be resolved quickly by contacting our support team directly — we encourage you to reach out first.

9. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to update this Refund Policy at any time. Material changes will be communicated to registered users by email and reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
